Coyote Near Ute Trailhead

I saw this coyote near the Ute Trailhead in Rocky Mountain National Park while I was on my way back from the Alpine Visitor Center. As you can see from its coat, the coyote was much better prepared for the winter weather over Memorial Day weekend than I was. Photo taken May 28, 2022 at about 11,000 feet in elevation.
