March of the Elk

In this photo taken near the Hermit Park Open Space, a herd of elk slowly make their through a meadow toward Estes Park, Colorado. As the weather gets warmer, these elk will move higher into the mountains. They can eventually be found again at the top of the Rockies and along Trail Ridge Road in the heart of the summer.
